Cooling load calculation
You would like to know, which achievement must have your air conditioner? Here you can compute the achievement. This rough cooling load computation considers the respective conditions, which prevail both within and outside of the building.

With the positions A, B and C can be only in each case one value entered.

External cooling load
A  Window heat transmission and radiation
·sun side without sun protection m²=W
·sun side with sun protection m²=W
 ·Shadow side m²=W
 ·dormer window m²=W

 B  External walls heat transmission
 ·South m²=W
 ·others m²=W

 C  Heat transmission of roofs
 ·Insulated flat roof m²=W
 ·Insulated bevelled roof m²=W

D  Internal walls heat transmission *
 ·Internal walls m²=W
 ·Ceiling m²=W
 ·Floor**m²=W

Internal cooling load
 E  Persons
 ·Quantity of persons Pers.=W

F  Other cooling loads (will be seized by the factor 0,8)
 ·Lamps W=W
 ·Heat emission of equipment W=W
 ·Heat emission of machines W=W
 ·Fresh air intake m³/h=W

Required total cooling capacity=W

Hints for calculation:
* enter only surfaces to unair-conditioned areas.
* * do not enter, if there is a soil or cellar under the floor.

The temperature difference between outside and interior temperature does not amount to approx. 6-8 K. The total cooling capacity includes 30% achievement for dehumidifying. The calculation shows only an approximate reference value for the necessary total cooling performance and lays no claim on accuracy.
REMKO does not take over a warranty for the correctness of the values.
