The RVS 50-260 DC series is a range of particularly quiet, air-cooled chillers specially designed for outdoor use. With a power range from 4.7 to 26.0 kW, these units offer versatile applications in both cooling and heating modes, thanks to their standard heat pump function.

The units are designed for cooling operation down to an outdoor temperature of -15°C, making them suitable for applications that require year-round cooling, such as process cooling. By using an inverter compressor and a continuously variable expansion valve, the cooling capacity is efficiently and demand-oriented adjusted to the specific operating conditions.

Another highlight of the units is the use of modern, energy-efficient EC fans, which offer significant cost savings, especially in part-load operation, compared to conventional AC technology. The combination of optimised heat exchanger surfaces, advanced components, and the fine-tuning of all operation-related system parameters ensures high efficiency, so the units meet the energy requirements of the Ecodesign Directive 2021.

In addition, special models with a low-temperature version are available, allowing for particularly low medium supply temperatures of up to -2°C, providing extra flexibility for demanding applications.
